I think the damage has been done when he lied about it all those years. He'll never get reinstated to baseball now.

    There was a legitimate controversy for years. However, once he admitted that he bet on baseball in his book... principally for money... even the staunchest of Rose supporters cringed.

     

    The tide has really turned on Rose. For the most part, he did it to himself.
