White Sox scored 11 runs in the Detroit series

Featured Replies

All 11 crossed the plate via the Home Run ball...need anymore be said? When is the last time this has happened?

I'm nominating this thread as perhaps the worst ever...

That is the season in a nutshell.

Something pretty much has to be done about that. There's nothing more that can be said

I don't mind a team that hits home runs, but that is just ridiculous

We won a lot games and had real good offense for the most part this year. The pitching hasn't done its part this season and in my opinion that has been the weak link in this team. Small ball wouldn't have done us a lot of good on Wednesday night when the pitching staff gives up 6 runs. I don't have a problem with the long ball as long as aour pitchers don't exchange the favor with the opposing offense.

Yeah, this isn't going to win games. Look at the Yankees, they are on pace to hit the lowest HR totals since the O'Neill-Brosius days, and look where those teams ended up.

This team is too similair to the '03 and '04 squads. Minus trading the farm sytem for jurrasic Carl and Robbie Alomar a few times

I'd like to point out that this same team that scored 9 nines against the Angels with no homers. If the Sox had a lead off hitter that could get on consistently, this would be a more consistent offense.
