I'm pretty sure it is, but it's still funny as hell. The "salesman" sounds like Dean, the Bob and Tom Show producer and the guy that does pretty much all the call in voices . . . the Mr. Obvious caller, the Japaneese tourist who freaks out when they say "Godzilla", etc. He's easily the most talented staffer on that show which I think is pretty full of talent.

The guy has at least 2 CD's full of stuff like this. Many times you can tell it's certainly not fake.

 

Especially when he found out that a hotel was having a telemarketers conference and kept calling their hotel rooms at 3 in the morning. The guy he kept calling was not happy at all...
