March 16, 200719 yr Well, the good news is this is the last we'll hear of this until July. The bad news is we'll hear about this again in July. Hopefully in July it'll finally be put to rest if they can't find any more "evidence". A Dominican court postponed a hearing Friday for Chicago White Sox shortstop Juan Uribe to give prosecutors more time to investigate allegations he shot a farmer last October. The 27-year-old is at spring training in Arizona and did not appear at the court in San Cristobal province. Judge Regina Carvajal denied a prosecutors' request to find Uribe in contempt for skipping the hearing. The judge also declined to make him forfeit a $15,400 deposit guaranteeing his presence in court because prosecutors requested the postponement, which lasts until July. Uribe's agent and lawyer, Martin Arburua, said last month that his client didn't have to appear in court.
March 17, 200719 yr I would prefer to sent Uribe before Judge Judy than that circus of a judicial system in the Dominican.
March 17, 200719 yr QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Mar 16, 2007 -> 07:32 PM) I would prefer to sent Uribe before Judge Judy than that circus of a judicial system in the Dominican. She's the BOSS, applesauce!
