I want to trade Preston Wilson to get Carlos Beltran. What do you think of this trade?

 

I am behind in home runs and stolen bases, which is what i think this will get me.

Dont do it. Wilsons a great hitter with good speed and he plays in Coors Field. Beltran sure wont improve the homers and he wont increase the SBs by much...

I think playing in COL Wilson ends up with more HRs and Beltran ends up with more SB's. It is a wash IMO.

I'm not a fan of either player, but if i would have to pick one, I'd pick Wilson.

i know wilson was doing quite well and beltran went on a tear of late maybe wait to see if they get traded for real to see what will work out

I'd do that trade in a heart beat. Wilson, despite playing in Coors, is still playing over his head a bit. Sell high! Beltran is the better player; he'll steal more bases, strike out less and be about even (maybe a little less) in HRs.

I don't know if you have Ks in your league too, but I like Beltran way more personally.

Id definitely take Wilson over Beltran. Wilson is haveing an awesome season!
