Important note to offense, RE: Uribe and Sweeney

Featured Replies

Our 2 best hitters right now are Ryan Sweeney and Juan Uribe. Why you ask? Because they are letting the ball get deep, hitting fastballs the other way and then unloading on the crappy off speed pitches and yanking them. THAT is how you get out of a slump boys, maybe Greg Walker doesn't realize that (hence his job should have been taken away), but Juan Uribe and Ryan Sweeney seem to. Try it sometime.

Exactly. Why we'd send down Sweeney instead of Terrero when Thome gets back up I have no clue at this point, the kid is really growing on me. It was good to see him finally turn on the ball (ironic I know based on what everyone else is doing on the squad) when he jacked one out tonight.
