May 15, 200718 yr What do you use? Currently I get 3% back on gas and grocery purchases (also fast service food which I never charge) and 1% back on all other purchases using a rewards card with Chase. I was using the Amex Blue cash which paid cash rewards but to get to the higher levels of cash back you had to spend upwards of $6,500 a year which I don't do. Of course the key to any of these is paying off your balance each month in full otherwise you're doing yourself more harm than good. Anyhow, interested to see if anyone is doing a cash rewards program and what kind of results you are getting.
May 16, 200718 yr I'm using a Citibank Diamond Preferred Rewards mastercard. 5% back on Grocery, drug store, & convenience store/gas purchases, 1% back on everything else. And yes, I've never held a balance.

Lotta gift card options that work with it though, usually I cash them in for Foot Locker or Target and it basically works just like cash.
