I won't miss the All-Star game, think of all the great players

Probably catch some of it since it's from The Cell. Only way the AllStar Game would interest me as a viewer was if the Sox were a legit contender for the WS since the League winner gets homefield advantage in the WS.

Yes, because I am a baseball fan. Of course, I'm a Sox fan first and foremost.

Yeah, that is understandable.

btw, I just hear that Apparicio and Gary Carter are the respective captains for the all-star game.

need a category for "No, I won't watch because for the first time in my life for once I will finally f***ing be at the game and I've waited a life time for this!"

I would have voted for that category! :headbang

My bad CW...I should have taken that into account.

I am sure you will love the All-Star game. I have never been to one, but I don't know how one could not enjoy it.

I've waited years to be able to go - I missed 1983 (had confirmation camp that week) and this is my one shot - and I am taking it!

The only reason I'll be watching is to see Comiskey Park again. I'll be looking at the crowd trying to find you CW. :cheers Have fun. I'm glad you finally have the chance to go. ;)

CW, would you be upset if by some strange mishandling of the rotation, this game ends in a tie?

My feeling is that a tie doesn't matter. The whole purpose of an all star game is to see the stars come out. Who cares if there's a tie.

If they do run out of pitchers again, have the captains flip for homefield advantage

CW,

You mean you'll be at the game but not watch? :D

I will watch at least the first inning. I will try not to be aggravated if a 13-2 E-Lo isn't the starter. I will try not to be aggravated if Frank isn't named to the roster. I don't care if someone more deserving gets f***ed in the process, it's Frank's house, he plays.

I will laugh at the Sosa cheater banners if he makes the team.

I was screwed when the NBA All-Star game was in Chicago. I was one of the few season ticket holders who didn't get tickets. Where all WS season ticket holders taken care of?

I'm sure I'll be working that night, but if I get a chance, I'll only watch if Loaiza is the starter.
