According to the report, Uribe paid $25,500 to make the case go away. June 12, 200718 yr I don't want to rule anything out, but it seems more then likely the people who accused Uribe of shooting them were just con artists looking for money. I also hear that is a very common in the Dominican and places such as that. Oh well, that is barely pocket change to Uribe.

Like you said, things like that are not uncommon in other countries.
