Some Interesting Stats

Featured Replies

A couple stats that in some cases surprised me.

In the AL (14 teams) the Sox rank

13th in Avg.

12th in Runs

11th in 2B

12th in 3B

5th in HR

12th in TB

5th in BB

11th in SB

4th in ERA

2nd in CG

12th in SV

5th in ER

5th in fielding percentage

4th in errors

I knew we where big, slow power hitters and the hitting stats tend to prove that.

I knew our starting pitching was carrying us but I didn't realize just how well they really are doing.

I thought our fielding really sucked. That was the biggest surprise of all.

So looking at what additions could help some speed, hitting for average, and some relieve pitching. What to give up possibly a starting pitcher. Bart? E-Lo?

I hope everyone had a nice lunch. :)
