How do we really end these wars?

If you want historical parallels, why not look at what the UK went through in Iraq a century ago. Same crap the US is going through. Too bad BushCo couldn't have been bothered to know about that.

 

And in that case, they left in a hurry, and they took some paths that would not be considered politically acceptable in modern times.
