what are the forum dedicated to exactly? I see similar things posted in both Palehose and Trade winds. Sorry for irritating others, but I've been coming here like a week.

 

 

PHT is more for news, organizational happenings, or thoughts about the team. Trade Winds is sort of dumb during the off-season. It's more meant for during the season, especially around the deadline.

 

Basically,

 

Orlando Cabrera Traded to White Sox=PHT

Miguel Cabrera To White Sox???=Trade Winds

Who Should be the Sox CF?=PHT

Is Coco Crisp coming to the Sox?=Trade Winds

I've requested for trade winds to be open during the offseason just so we don't get 10 different threads from 10 different posters in the Sox clubhouse that go like this:

To the Sox, that would involve dealing Javy. That's not going to happen right now.

Javy is out of the question and I think Omar knows it.

 

If he is willing to settle on some combination of a reliever we are willing to dump and a young arm, maybe there is an outside shot. Unlikely sure, but I can't see Omar not being tempted to land a Danks/Sisco combination or something along those lines. Maybe I am crazy but I just get a feeling that Omar would do a deal like that...

 

That said, very very slim chance we can compete for Milledge. Other rumors like Crawford/Cabrera are more likely to happen for us because Milledge is just vastly overrated in the trade market that includes other names like Santana, Cabrera, Tejada, Crawford, Haren etc.
