Giving this a thread here since there were at least a few people who seemed to want him earlier this offseason. Jenkins signs a 2 year, $13 million deal with the Phils. Option for a 3rd year if he gets enough plate appearances.

I was probably the biggest proponent of picking up Jenkins. In fact I think I said he could be had for in the 6-7 million a year range over 3 - this is right in line.

 

After the Quentin deal though, there really was no need for another corner OF. Unless that is, Quentin is capable of playing CF.
