Now, it's being reported on TMZ, so I'll hold off on taking it as gospel until I read the news from a legitimate music news source, but it wouldn't surprise me if Eddie was back on the sauce.

If it's over for VH (again), they did make a nice chunk of change on this nostalgia tour.

The Ex-Old Ladie's book must of pushed him off the wagon :huh

I actually do think that had something to do with it.

The week she started the publicity tour for her book was the first time VH cancelled a show.

Ed hates to be discussed by anyone but himself, so I can definitely see how his ex airing dirty laundry about him and their marriage could set him off.

could be the tongue cancer coming back.....

VH cancels tour

NEW YORK — Van Halen has postponed concerts this week as guitarist Eddie Van Halen undergoes medical testing for an undisclosed condition.

"According to Eddie Van Halen's physician, he is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures," according to a statement released Monday by Van Halen's representative and the tour promoter, Live Nation.

Eddie Van Halen has had medical setbacks in recent years, including a battle with cancer and a trip to rehab. A representative for Van Halen did not return a phone message or e-mail from The Associated Press seeking further information about his ailment.

The concerts that were postponed were this week's shows in Dallas; Cincinnati; Raleigh, N.C.; and Baltimore. They have been rescheduled for April.

Van Halen embarked on their reunion tour with original lead singer David Lee Roth last fall.

The latest says that the tour wills start again on March 11th but who knows anymore. I hope Eddie is ok and they dont cancel the Chicago show

17 more shows have been "postponed", including the April 4th Chicago (Rosemont) date.

Van Halen Putting Tour On Hold For A Month

Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.

After postponing a handful of dates last week in order for guitarist Eddie Van Halen to undergo tests for an unspecified medical condition, Van Halen is postponing all tour activity until April 19.

Seventeen shows are affected, beginning tomorrow night (March 11) in Charlottesville, Va., and running through April 15 in Baltimore.

According to organizers, Van Halen, who has battled cancer and substance abuse, "is currently under doctors' care" and will "continue medical tests to define a course of treatment." No further details were made available.

Fans are being asked to keep their tickets, which will be honored at makeup dates to be announced.

Van Halen returned to the road last fall with original lead singer David Lee Roth for the first time in 20-plus years. The tour, which features Eddie Van Halen's teenage son Wolfgang on bass, has routinely sold out North American arenas.
