Cooper is a Minor League vet.

 

Ginter still has a chance and has pitched very well this year.

 

Hummel is playing very well and is far from done.

 

So on your list, you are right on 1, wrong on two. Ginter may not ever make it, but he definitely still has some value.

Ginter is a good relief prospect, imo and I am waiting for him to get his opportunity. I think he sticks the next time he comes up. Hummel at worse is going to be a very solid utility man. He'll be in the majors next year (With the Sox or if its with someone else).

Anyone know how many options Ginter has left? IIRC he has been up a couple of times.
