April 25, 200818 yr OK, I'll just admit it off the top. I was stupid and bored at work last week and downloaded "gamevance" to get some silly duckhunting game. Wellity wellity, it has put a program that gives occasional pop-ups and search links on text on sites. Luckily it didn't spread and it's not overly annoying or porno or anything. However, when I found it in my programs and tried to move it into the recycle it says access is denied, check if its running or read only or something. Bottom line, anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off my computer. Thanks in advance

April 25, 200818 yr Go through your add/remove programs, see if any program looks suspicious. If one does, do a Google search on the name and see what people say about it. I had a program named WinTools one time and it was popup spyware disguised as a Windows program.
