May 11, 200817 yr This will be a good test for Whisler. He's fattened up his W-L record by beating some bad teams. He's 1-1 against good teams. He's got a relatively high WHIP and his K/BB is approximately 1.0. So, hard to tell whether he is pitching well or overachieving at this point.

Expect the worst, hope for the best. He pitched like a 1st rounder today. Keep in mind that this is the only organization in all of MLB that has a rookie put up big numbers, then sends him down to AAA the following year.
