July 7, 200322 yr By what I've heard on here, it's standard procedure for the manager of the home field team to be chosen to be on the coaching staff. It almost certainly has nothing to do with his managerial abilities -- just a sign of respect more than anything.

If it were dependent on managerial abilities-he'd have to buy his own ticket,pay for his own parking and hope that he gets upper deck seats as good as cw's................ K-Y
