Amazing..............when Frank is quoted by the same paper it's always "he's misunderstood" or "misquoted",we get lectured on how not to be led around by the media.When the media supports this authors argument-it get's quoted as fact.Pure drivel."Tub of Goo"?Then so is David Wells,Wilbur Wood,Luis Tiant etc.Colon obviously,has not met expectations and is not worth what he'll probably command on the open market anyways.Drop him from the team?Yeah-there's some unbiased thinking and a clear solution.I'm sure we can run a parade of minor leaguers to fill his spot,as soon as the parade stops for a 5th starter. you must be the only one with the problem-I don't have a problem with DJ.But I will admit that a perfect matchup with Hawk is waiting in the wings,in a few years,when he retires.Everytime I hear him do interviews on the radio he cracks me up.Who is the player-none other than Kelly Wunsch.I was listening to him talk to J.Hood tonight and thought that he'd be great next to Hawk.The guy is all personality and always cracks me up. there's something that makes people stupid when they don that blue cap.It's like a retard lid. It's not so much racism as much as it is just perpetuating a stereotype.What he said has been investigated and found not to be true.He does himself and fellow blacks,minorities a diservice by perpetuating the stereotype.Blacks don't dissapate heat any better than whites do,because of their skin color. I just find it ironic that a man like Baker,who prides himself on being active for civil rights,would repeat a silly stereotype that is counter productive to what he stands for.He's his own worst enemy.He should spend more time stressing the things that are similar in all people rather than how groups are different.We've only spent the last 50 yrs trying to express how one's skin color gives no one an advantage. I'm surprised he didn't excuse himself from the interview so that he could finish his watermelon,fried chicken and maybe teach a pasty Morrissey some rythym........... Hawk mentioned it on the score,wed. afternoon.He said there was one more trade that would "blow your mind".When pressed,he wouldn't elaborate nor give any hints.Thus,the score started running with it and people were calling in speculating what kind of trades would "blow our minds". K-Y
