Red Sox Dirty Dozen

Featured Replies

ESPN just ran what they called the REd Sox Dirty Dozen. It was 12 games this season in which they have blown games.

It was ugly. If White Sox fans think they have it bad, they should have seen this. I felt sorry for the Red Sox and especially Brandon Lyon (he seemed to be in on at least 6 or 7 of them). They way they have lost games this year has been really ugly.

I saw that. and you are right, it was very ugly. One was against KC, another Minnesota.... stupid Red Sox! :D

i didn't see it, but the ones that stick out as the worst were; the one on opening day in tampa, the one in philly where thome hit 2 hr and todd pratt won it, and the one against florida where they blew a 9-2 lead in the 8th.

The saving grace I get as a Chisox from reading the Red Sox implosion report is the fact they are still up there with the Yankees and in the thick of the race. Can you imagine what their record would look like if they had a relief corp? We have blown games, but can take heart from that story and know we can still win this thing too.

The thing is they could do the same segment with our Sox

We would not be adding Todd Jones to our staff, however.
