August 1, 200817 yr Well i wanted to post a postive thread. At the start of the year who would of thought we would be in first. Lets forget about the Twins Series for a second. We sweep them in a 4 game set in Chicago, and they won 3/4 in Minny. So when you look at it, were up 1 in that department. Lets just win 2/3 or sweep KC, then head on home. August 1, 200817 yr That's the whole point of the Sox are in first place thread... Enjoy it, we're in a pennant race when no one expected us to be. If they fight, even if they come up short, it will still have been a good season. Let's make the playoffs and see what happens!

Did the Twins just lay down and die when we whooped them in June? No. I'm with you, lets take care of KC and then do work back on the south side. We have 30 games left at home, lets win around 20+ of those. We can do that I think. Plus we're due for a hot streak, its been like this all year long. Go Sox.
