I was driving earlier this morning and pressed scan on my car radio. All of a sudden I pick up someone talking on a frequency were we did not have a station. So I am thinking cool, another English language station. But ughh borrrrring. Then I lose the station for a moment only to pick it back up in a few seconds. At the next light I look over and there is a guy talking away in his car and the lips seem to match what I was hearing on the radio. I figured out right away I was picking up his cell phone conversation. Turns out there are a few blue tooth car kits with a FM transmitter relay for playing MP3s. They also transmit the calls through the FM stereo and will mute the stereo. Finish the call, and the music returns to volume. I wonder how many people know while using that feature, anyone close by can hear their calls?

I'm sure they know, this technology has been around awhile, but I'm also sure they just don't care.
