If you look at his track record, Tiger's never fared well in the Ryder Cup.

I know nothing about golf and I'll prove it:

 

This competition is the US (a country) vs Europe (a continent). If one country is talented enough to take on a continent, doesn't that automatically make that country superior at that sport? What am I missing here?

 

Out of the first 22 "official" Ryder Cups, Great Britain only won 3. They added Europe into their points system for team membership in 1979 and it's been pretty much split down the middle since. Something had to done to regain the prestige of the event and increase the competition.
