Tisch threw a no-no in a 7 inning game shortened, because of a double header. He pitched 7 innings givivng up no hits only 1 walk, and striking out 6. He lowered his season era to 1.20. Riding Tisch's brilliant performance Bristol won game 1 of the double dip 2-0. Bristol then shut out Johnson City again 4-0 on a combined shut out by Novoa and Castro. Novoa upped his record to 3-1 on the season. Young shortstop Roberto Valido went 3-5 in the 2 games with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Also outfielder Eddie Young had 3 stolen bases on the day to up his season total to 5.
