October 2, 200817 yr Does anyone in the Chicagoland area know a Comcast subcontractor that does installs in the west suburbs? I had one but lost his number and Im moving this weekend and dont want to wait on comcast to send me one late next week. Any help would be appreciated.
October 2, 200817 yr Sorry, I can't be of help. I still have to take the opportunity to say that Comcast sucks. My parent's house has had issues with the digital cable/internet for about a month. A guy came in, looked at it, told them he couldnt do anything today because he had to go buy parts, and promised to come back the next week. Ridiculously enough, Comcast calls you to confirm the appointment and if you're not home, they postpone it. Additionally, when they call it shows up as a toll-free call, a call that you typically don't answer, or hang up on. This even after my mom gave them her cell # to call because no one is usually at home during the day. So after A MONTH of their bulls*** calling, not getting an answer, and taking it into their hands to reschedule (while the p's are getting charged for regular service) she gets fed up, calls, raises hell, and after an hour of this is assured the technician will come within two days at a time conveniant to her. Lo and behold that very day minutes after that call the cable and internet work like a charm. I'm glad I don't feed my money into this s*** excuse of a company. I've a vast DVD collection for movies and pay extra for MLB baseball that I wouldn't normally get. Other than that I don't watch too much tv so no need for my rear passage to get violated by this clown company. What they've done even back when I lived with the p's until this last month is an abortion of customer service and despicably lazy. Normally I'll have mercy on those I deal with on service phone calls- I'm a very nice person, I always envision myself in others' shoes- but after getting a taste of the s*** they have to offer, dealing with their worthless unqualified scum, I have no problem sending some of their s*** right back at them. I feel very strongly about this company. f*** Comcast.
October 2, 200817 yr I agree that comcast is shady. I've had a lot of problems with the internet since they took over down here. The customer service is terrible. I find the TV service better than our last company though.
