Is $10-12 million a big enough difference between a .700 OPS and whatever the hell kind of defense Getz plays to an .800+ OPS player with gold glove defense but slight injury concerns?

it all depends....im certainly not a big enough orlando hudson fan to give him 10-12 million dollars a year....he barely has an OPS over .800 in the NL...so im guessing it would be high .700s in the AL...especially if that deal is anything longer than 2 years, as i certainly don't see a 34 year old orlando hudson being worth 10-12 mil

 

but then again, its not my money, so spend away....but that said if it means we are failing to use 10-12 mil in other areas, i dont think hudson is worth it...

i also read his quote about not worrying about the money to mean that if they can sign get + type player, they'll spend the money it takes to get it done.
