Tiebreaker pregame video

For those of you that weren't at the game (like me), check it out. I figured it deserved it's own thread since there isn't a catch all anymore. Great stuff.

In retrospect, because I was not at Game 2 of the World Series, the tie breaker game was the best Sox game I have ever been to. Still is 2nd to Illinois-Arizona all time, but I still can't get over the energy the Cell had for this game.

Yeah I was at Illinois-Arizona, and that one is pretty much untouchable in terms of energy and noise, outside of Sox playoff games and sadly I've never been to any of those.

That video is just awesome. Makes me happy.

Wow thanks. That video is f***ing sweet. That game ties Mark's no-hitter as the two best Sox games I've ever been to. That tiebreaker had so much energy, excitement, glory. Not to mention all the tension and nerves building up to it. That video pretty much sums it up.

Good stuff.

Incredible, just a complete summation of why this year was so special. I too was at Game 2 0f the World Series, and as ludicrous as this sounds, but the experience of watching the one game playoff VS Minnesota (on by birthday, no less) on TV left me nearly as energized as actually being at the ball park. On a different note, I enjoy how BA and D-Wheezy gets their own head-turn, and the Missile and Swish get to share one.

We've come a long way as a franchise in the last 5 years or so.

well said. I'd like to give a lot of that credit to Ozzie.

I loved this team and that video made my day.

really nice how the put Griffey and Thome together.

The trade wasnt anything great but we got to see a special player roaming our outfield even if he's on the downside of his career. That doesnt happen very often.

Griffey's contributions to the Sox were negligble, at best. We once had Steve Carlton on the staff, but that also turned out to be quite forgetable. BFD.
