Nothing more riveting (or cuter) than the Puppy Cam

By Lynn Kalber | Monday, November 17, 2008, 04:29 PM

If you’ve been under a food bowl lately, you may not have heard about the latest, greatest time-waster around: the Puppy Cam.

And it is so darn cute, it squeaks!

The cam was a solution for a San Francisco couple to watch their new litter of six Shiba Inu pups (yes, that’s an AKC breed; one of the pups shown here) while they were away from the house.

So they set up a streaming video and now you can watch the pups roll around, bite each other, sleep deeply, snort, snuffle, yap and just generally be adorable.

Did I mention that it’s addictive? In fact, so addictive that Ustream.tv has created a special pop-up window, so you can have that open all the time while you’re, uh, working on your important documents. Yeah, that’s it. Important documents… wait, one just crawled over another one and now a third one is chewing on a toy…

Oops, back to work. It’s Monday and you need this break.
