Sox in KC this past weekend

Featured Replies

I am not sure if anyone here made it to KC this past weekend...or at the beginning of the season, but the Kauffman Stadium upgrades are awesome. The park looks great, the weather was fantastic, tons of new amenities (for both Kids and Adults) and looks the fans are enjoying it as it was a packed house on Saturday and Sunday when I was there. If anyone is looking for a new road trip stadium....consider KC.

3 hours of tailgating could have blurred my vision a little...but from what I remember seeing it looked great.

Yeah, it is really nice. I saw the Yankees play and Sox play there this year and park is real nice. It's a great place to watch baseball, great parking (which is pretty cheap) all around and easy access to the stadium from the expressway.

Yeah, $9 is much better than $23. :-) Having the football stadium there makes tailgating easy as well.

We paid $8 last week when I went to see the Angels and Sox in Anaheim. Talk about cheap...

The stadium looks really nice, can't wait to visit it someday.

They won't be done fully renovating it until next year, right?
