You have some defensive issues there. Gordo should be at 3B, Iwamura at 2B and Alexei at SS for the most defensively sound infield. Iwamura is a very good 2B, not so great at 3B, Becks is a good 3B and Alexei is the best SS of the bunch.

 

Your probably right, but I was thinking that Iwamura is a natural 3B, but I would think of Tampa got him to play 2B, I suspect we could as well.

I said it last year and people ripped me, but I will say it again, 2008 was our last shot to win a WS for the conceivable future (that's why I was disappointed with last season). Unless we spend a crap load of money, which is doubtful, I don't see how this team is going to get much better -- Peavy notwithstanding.

 

As sad as it is, the old geezers have still been our most productive hitters. Who's going to replace them? I just hope we're not banking on Latin BA. And the bullpen still looks like a mess.
