July 28, 200322 yr the cardinals are not plsying up to their abilities and just because suppan pitched one good game doesnt mean he is worth getting..look at all the pirates pitchers..they all have low eras due to them being in a pitchers park(just like L.A.)..i dont think getting an average pitcher will help us out

We're talking about a guy thats a 5th starter, who will only have a few starts left. Suppan is a number 2 or 3 guy on most staffs, and he doesnt have a big salary, I think he'd be a perfect fit. The problem is, KW will most likely give up too much to get him. I still say bring up Stewart.
July 29, 200322 yr Yep we are looking at about 8 starts tops, if you act like you need Cy Young you put a big limit on your possibilities.
