Studying Abroad

Featured Replies

So its still a bit away, but I am thinking about studying abroad Spring 2011 (my junior second semester).

My options seem to be:

Hong Kong

Singapore

Seoul, Korea

Melbourne, Aust.

Sydney, Aust.

Vienna, Austria

Paris, FR

Dublin, Ireland

Milan, Italy

Rotterdam, Netherlands

Oslo, Norway

Barcelona, Spain

London, England

Manchester, England

I chose this semester because I dont want to be off campus for my senior year and first semester junior year is pretty important for landing an internship. I currently have an internship this summer with Grainger that may extend into next summer, but I am also an RA and want to come back for atleast the first semester for next year. That said, it looks like I am limited to that semester to study abroad.

I am looking for a cultural experience. These listed places are the ones offered through the college of business, so that I can keep up with classes.

So my question for you Soxtalk community, has anyone traveled to these places? Any experiences studying abroad? Working abroad? Anything would be great. I want to get a head start on the process since there are so much complications taht go with this (classes, the RA job, my business fraternity that I could probably be VP External if I stay, etc).
