July 29, 200322 yr So the Bears Training Camp is in Bourbonnais (sp), and so they stay at like Olivet Nazarene (sp) University and eat in those halls and all that stuff. Well, you need ID obviously if you are going to enter the dining halls and buildings and what not. Well Jauron got to the dining hall entrance and forgot his ID, and the kid at the door said i'm sorry i need your id. Instead of just politely saying "well, i'm Dick Jauron, i'm sorry, i'll get someone over here to verify that for you and i'll remember my ID next time", which would be fine and expected, he just turns right around and walks to wherever to go get his ID. I found this pretty hilarious. I doubt any other NFL coach would do that when they are the coach of the friggin camp that is being held at the university.
July 29, 200322 yr Actually seems pretty nice of him. I'm sure a lot of head coaches would of given up crap and all that. Your right though, him saying it nicely would of been the best approach.

Oh, it's extremely nice, just odd He probly figured that he should follow the rules just like everyone else, regardless of who he is.
