My guess is it is going to be a minor leaguer.

Cotts can not be called up unless he is on the 40 man roster, correct?

This leaves Diaz, Adkins, Stewart, Rauch as possibilities.

I'd like to see Diaz.

If the Sox want Cotts, they just put him on the 40 man. Takes two seconds.

Danny Wright (barring trade). I'll put 50 bucks on it.

Wright pitched an inning in relief tonight.

That suggests they are trying to keep him sharp for next Saturday's start against the M's. Otherwise there would be no reason to pitch him between AAA starts.

I missed that when I posted the boxscore...... Strange that they would throw him an inning after throwing 7 on Saturday. Guess that would be considered his side day. But you can also read into it that they are trying to get him ready to start saturday. Good catch.

Barring a trade, I am with you.
