White Sox 2003 first-round draft pick Brian Anderson needs wrist surgery and will miss the rest of the season.

 

Anderson, drafted No. 15 overall out of the University of Arizona, batted .388 in 13 games with Great Falls in the Advanced Rookie League before being shut down.

 

Wrist Surgery is never a good thing. Hope everything turns out good.
