So the Sox at $12,772,300 have spent the least of out all MLB teams the last three years in the MLB Draft. Granted, the picks in the first round the last three years have been good, we are killing ourselves by not stocking the system with high-priced talent in the later rounds. Discuss.

The '08 draft was in the bottom third of money spent and is easily in the top third of performance and overall value. I won't sweat it because it won't change overnight.

These kids are getting WAY too much money. How exactly is spending up each of the last two years? I don't see how the 30th pick in the draft warrants a million dollars given the track record of 30th picks for example.
