Hawk's Haircut

Featured Replies

I hear Hawk bet the team if they swept KC they could shave his head. Mark B. got the honors. In that spirit if the Sox score 2 runs against the Ms, I'm going to drink a lot of beer all weekend!

ah, somehow I am hoping we score a lot more than two runs against the Ms -

unless you are planning we win two 1-0 games and rop the third -

your beer drinking plan is long on goal but very short on what is needed to get there...

no beer for you unless we score 20 - :cheers :cheers

I figure we have 2 runs by 10:00 tonight, I ain't waiting until *after* the series :D

I figure Hawk wanted the new look and looked for an excuse.

:cheers

indeed, it was Hawk vs. clippers after the game -- and the clippers won

from the Sun-Times:

And when it was over, the Sox players talked fast and out of breath. Pitcher Mark Buehrle pulled TV guy Hawk Harrelson into the showers and shaved his head. Harrelson said he didn't put up a fight. But he left the showers with a towel wrapped around his head and vowed not to go uncovered on air. From the looks of things, that's a good thing.

"I think we're going to see something special this year,'' Harrelson gushed, after switching from a towel to a cap. "Why not be a part of it?''

Just then, pitcher Billy Koch grabbed Harrelson's cap and threw it aside. And the point is this: The Sox are like little kids.

Amazing how much fun winning is! Now where is my Sox hat? I have some Cub fans to visit . . .
