August 1, 200322 yr The Royals have battled back a couple times this season after being written off. No reason to believe they will not do it again and stay in the race. The Twins have never made a move but expect at least one like we are in the middle of to bring them within the pack. We have proven the ability to crash at times against inferior teams (Tigers). We need to keep beating teams in our division and holding our own against the rest. To me it's still a three team race with 10-12 games over .500 possibly winning the division.
August 1, 200322 yr I was very encouraged to see the Twins basically sit pat (kielty for stewart is all i think) and not upgrade that weak starting pitching staff. I don't think they have the personnel to make a big run in these last 2 months, but who knows
August 1, 200322 yr Whatever happens, at least the sox woke up and joined the party. Gonna be a lot more fun watching a pennant race instead of watching them just play out the season.
