August 2, 200322 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/story?id=1588791 Everyone knows that this guy meant what he said. And almost everyone agrees with him. Looks like Oakland's on their way to an AL West Division title.
August 2, 200322 yr Yep. Same as last year. This time the M's might hold on the take the wild card, but I think the wild card team will come from the East.

There are going to be 4 very good teams in the AL playoffs this year, and at least one very good team at home watching. It looks like Oakland, NYY, CHISOX, and Boston. Seattle may win 95 games and not make the playoffs.

August 2, 200322 yr Not only will they make it in, but they'll be the last ones standing when it's over.
August 2, 200322 yr As long as the sox make it in, I could care less who else makes it. Its COULDNT care less.
August 2, 200322 yr Not only will they make it in, but they'll be the last ones standing when it's over. Now that i agree with!!!!
August 2, 200322 yr you know what i mean Yeah i know, its just one of those common mistakes people make. I was just messin with ya.
August 2, 200322 yr Author Yeah i know, its just one of those common mistakes people make. I was just messin with ya. After hearing about your history I'm not gonna mess with ya.
August 2, 200322 yr Interestingly we may have a role as spoiler in this with our late Sept series vs the Yankees at the Cell. How sweet would it be to clinch at home vs the Yank AND knock them out of the playoffs at the same time? Too Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 2, 200322 yr If I had to pick teams we played in the playoffs I would wanna face Boston or New York over Oakland or Seattle. First of all Boston and New York usually get the primetime games so Sox would be all over national TV when everyone is actually at home. Also they both have much weaker overall pitching when compared to Seattle and especially Oakland. Of course Oakland always turns into Chokeland in October anyways.

August 2, 200322 yr There seems to be a race in each division. While the losers of the East and West will battle for the wild card, we have to win the division. I think we can do that. And like bmr said, one really good team is gonna be at home. Oakland, Seattle or Boston...
August 2, 200322 yr haven't we had more success with the east coast teams? Yeah. The West Coast is a punk. It sometimes seems we cant even beat the cellar dwellers of the West...
August 2, 200322 yr Sounds to me like he had a case of PFS. Prick Fright (I mean Rick White) syndrome. Glad that sack of s*** was designated for assignment. He tried to do the same thing last week as well, remember?? If not,go to The Daily SouthTown's website for all the details. Look under Phil Arvia's name in the sports section.
