July 18, 201114 yr http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/wh...t-the-last.html Danks feeling it John Danks returned to the team after pitching six scoreless innings for Class AAA Charlotte against Louisville on Friday night. The Sox haven’t made it official, but Danks is expected to start in Kansas City on Thursday. “Judging how I was throwing last night, I felt like I was throwing like I was before I got hurt,’’ said Danks, who had a 3-0 record and 1.96 ERA in three starts before straining his oblique June 25. “It’s a good sign. We’re going to get all the work in that we normally do and treat it like a normal start. I don’t anticipate having any rest. I feel like I can get back to where I was.” Danks played with brother Jordan, one of the Sox’ top outfield prospects. “It was cool,’’ Danks said. “You like it more when he’s making plays behind you. He made a couple of great plays last night that I didn’t think he had a chance at.’’
July 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 03:23 PM) My first thought at TH was triple header. Glad Danks is back though. Yeah, except that Thursday is an off day - he's pitching on Weds against KC. Sun-Times boo boo. Edited July 18, 201114 yr by Stan Bahnsen

July 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) Maybe it's a simulated game on Thursday vs. Mark Prior in KC Gotta real good feeling Danksy comes out strong in 2nd half, picks up where he left off before DL.
