personally I prefer Futurama.

 

Home Movies is a good show, but I would rather see it only once a week.

 

I think it should be returned to the Sunday Night slot

I like the 'anime-ized' Adult Swim better, more because I prefer Japanese cartoons over American cartoons.

I can't stand Anime because it isn't funny. If it was funny I would like it, but I don't watch cartoons to see fighting sequences.

South Park is mindless dribble, sorry if my opinion hurts your feelings. Watching an episode about this Timmy character watching his dad in some gay house, and his mom killing him, well, it was quite lame.

 

You should be happy that a 15 year old watches something that stimulates the brain, rather than feeding to the 'sit in front of the tv and drool while some elementary students cuss their brains out' part of people.

I didn't say anime was for more informed people. I said that anime stimulates the brain far more than most American cartoons.

 

 

I know plenty of people who watch South Park, that also have good grades, but none of them ever say they watch it because of the intelligence(which, I don't believe can say is existent), they love all the nasty storylines, cursing, and pure vulgarity of it.

I'm siding with Spiff here, South Park is one of the more intelligent cartoons out there. If you're not very smart, a lot of the things on the show won't be picked up. Same thing with Family Guy. That show can throw potty humor at you, but then put some very intellectual humor on it as well.

Though Anime is no more mentally stimulating than South Park. South Park is not intelectual humor either. The Simpsons is far more witty, and has even more political satire.

 

South Park is a funny show. Perhaps my favirote episode was the one in which Indians took over south park, and the towns people were forced to live in shacks. They then suffered a sars outbreak. In the end they win back the money to buy the town from the indians and their casino highway, but end up gambling it back away.
