August 8, 200322 yr Mostly overlooked in our KC series was Pena's bringing in Sweeney as inspiration for his team. It smelled of a B movie story line when Sweeney showed up in the club house after hitting a home run the night before. He said he could play in a day or two. Now it's looking like next week sometime. I have to admire the Royals they are trying every little trick, smoke and mirrors to keep winning. I don't know if Pena could manage long ball and our line up but would love to see him get a chance. Think he would jump after we dump JM this November?
