Barons lost game 2 7-5

Series tied at 1

Santiago shelled

Voyagers won 8-3

Voyagers lead 1-0 in the best of 3

Smith back

Hector was low in the zone the whole time. Plus, Mobile was making solid contact on him from the start. It also didn't help that Mobile has a 36 year old 10 year Major League veteran in Daryle Ward on the team hitting third. He smoked two pitches from Santiago to the opposite field. Jarrod Parker was also dealing for the BayBears. His fastball has more life and velocity now than before he had surgery. His change-up is wicked. Also, Jake Oester's no joke. That was a legit bomb.

Thanks John.

Would Terry go again in game 4 or 5 or is he done until the next round if the Barons make it? I honestly wouldn't be comfortable with Shirek and Edwards pitching in 4 and 5.

I think Santiago is gassed. His fastball was only topping out at 95, although he was generating a lot of ugly swings with his offspeed stuff. But when he was up in the zone, Mobile tattooed it. Parker hit 102 at one point with his fastball.

I would hope they wouldn't ask Threw 113 pitches, needs 113 hours off. If they asked, he would only be effective for an inning or two. He has AFL in 3 weeks.

So, I take it the whole rotation is going to be used.
