December 5, 201114 yr I was wondering if anyone is willing to give Milledge a shot at a major league position like center or left. I remember him having all kind of tools but not putting together at his younger age. He does have some attitude issues but maybe the ego has been toned down do to lack of success in the big leagues. He put a pretty decent season and could be a potential lead off man for the White Sox. He is only 26 years old and will come cheap. We all know the White Sox like to find the diamonds in the ruff. He hit in the low .270's when he did get a chance to play and to be honest for a highly touted prospect he really didn't get too much major league time to develop. Lastings Milledge: ABS: 444 Average: .293 Home Runs: 12 Runs: 61 RBIS: 48 Stolen Bases: 27 Caught Stealing: 6 Link to Fan Graphs Page: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playe...amp;position=OF

December 6, 201114 yr White Sox have 5 outfielders right now. All seem to be better and have a better upside than Milledge. With the possible exception of Rios, and it's not possible to move him.
December 6, 201114 yr QUOTE (MAX @ Dec 5, 2011 -> 10:21 PM) Rios has a much better upside than milledge. Definitely. I'm just not sure if Rios was a better player than Milledge in 2011.
December 6, 201114 yr QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Dec 5, 2011 -> 10:28 PM) Definitely. I'm just not sure if Rios was a better player than Milledge in 2011. Oh.
