August 11, 200322 yr A bunch of us are going to a KC/White Sox game in KC on September 25th...leaving Chicago at 12:54 pm, arriving in KC at 2:36...going to the game at 7:05 and coming back the next day at 7 am. We got a hell of deal. $96 on the airfare, $50 per night per room on hotel and renting a car for $30-$60 (not sure on the type of car we are going to get yet)...tickets are so cheap there too! KC cheapest is $5 and most expensive is $22 and that is for the infield box. We are going to get tickets this weekend but I have a question for anyone that has been to Kauffman Stadium. Where is KC's dugout at that field? We want to get our tickets behind the White Sox dugout and it has come to my attention that not every home teams uses the 3B sideline as their dugout. Is this the case with the Royals? Next question, with this series coming at the very end of the season, how likely is this series going to matter to the Sox? Will they be the AL Central Champions by then? Will it be between the White Sox and Royals? Will the White Sox need to win to fend off the Twins? Will the Sox need to win to catch the Twins?
August 11, 200322 yr 3rd base side will be the Sox dugout. It's a nice stadium, friendly fans, and cheap. That's closest place for me to catch the Sox so I try to go when I can.
August 11, 200322 yr Author Great! I can't wait for this trip. I guess we will get our tickets on the 3B side then. Thanks for the information.
