Games left with KC/Minny

Featured Replies

We have 7 games left with each of them if I did my calculations right.

Whoever wins the majority of those 14 games in September between us and our two rivals will most likely claim the division.

This race will most likely go down to the very end.....

Not to be a dick, but you're just figuring this out now?

I knew we had games left with them. I just thought some posters on this messageboard needed to see this so they don't s*** a brick if we lose another 2 games on this roadtrip.

Another 2 games on this road trip is fine, the next 2 games on this road trip is not.

4 games @ the fountain area to claim the division... maybe second place though! :bang

I really think September is going to be just the White Sox and Twins grabbing 1st back and forth. KC will probably be like 4 out by the time we play them, and Minnesota will probably be a game back if things go right. That's how I see it. Minnesota is hot, Royal pitching is not. And as for the Sox, they gotta win, they're the Sox. The best team in this race!

I still like our chances. Right now, the Twins are playing great baseball, and their pitching is getting better. Lohse is turning it around(albeit against s***ty teams), Radke has been solid all year, Santana has been good, and Rogers is decent. If Milton comes back and pitches well, watch out.

What we need is a f***ing bullpen.

I think the Royals will be in it until the end. After the way they fought the Yankees last night, I think they're going to be there with us at the end.
