July 19, 201213 yr It also interesting that a guy who is leading the league in home runs has no votes. Shows how deep the Sox have been this year. It's not very often that the league leader in home runs is only third on his team in OPS. His power is back, but his OBP is nowhere near MVP-caliber.
July 19, 201213 yr Tough call. I went with Konerko. He obviously cooled off, but when you look at the entire body of work, and where we would have been without him those first few months, I think he's the pick for now. I'd probably pick someone else in a few weeks if Konerko continues to slump a bit.
