Scott Carroll to Have TJ Surgery

Featured Replies

Looks like he's set for TJ Surgery this offseason if anyone cares. He didn't exactly have a very good or impressive year, and it looks like he's going to miss all of next year.

On my way down to Pensacola now...Tommy John surgery is set for Thursday down in Florida w/ Dr. Andrews office. #nervous #anxious

Fortunately, he isn't someone the Sox were going to depend on anyway. He'll be 28 next season, 29 when he comes back from surgery.

That said, certainly never like to hear about this kind of thing... I hope he makes a good recovery and comes back strong to take another shot.
