Ishmookie
i was watching fox sports net and kevin kennedy the baseball analyst was on he was talking about the al central race. Kennedy said that the twins and royals will be tough to beat but he thinks the sox have the best chance of winning the division. I was thinking about this analysis and if u take into account that the sox do control their own destiny our september schedual is impossible. we finish with the twins at the hhh dome, the royals at the cell, the yanks at home, and the royals on the road. The way the sox have gone on the road this year its not a good sign. Do u think the sox can step it up in that stretch because of the veterans they have or will they fold. If they do step up it will be great preperation for the postseason. (If we get there) What do you think?
Guest hotsoxchick1
i think that theres only 35 more games left to play and 19 of them are at home for us.....which means we will win 19 out of those 35....is that good enough to push us over the top????? only time will tell........i also think your thinking too much lol.... just sit back and enjoy whats left of baseball.. the end is upon us which means winter is near (i hate that season)....can we think about something else for a bit???? DonkeyKongerko
We are at least competitive on the road on the East Coast. Let's pay no more attention to that other coast.

Let's pay no more attention to that other coast. well honestly, we dont have to pay anymore attention to the left coast after our meeting with texas this weekend..... everything else we do from here on out is on the east or within our own division...........yanks and bosox arent just going to lay down for us in their house.......were gonna have to step it up out there if we intend on doing some serious damage....... YASNY
This schedule is not going to be easy to get through, but I think we can do it. The key games, of course, are against KC and Minnesota. But, we are going to have to look to win every series from here on out. No more road excuses (are you listening, Frank?).

sox-r-us
If Jerry Manuel has any f***ing sense he will play Frank at 1st at least for 50% of those road games You have to do what you have to do to win, and the #s are staggeringly in that direction And please no more throw away line ups of Willie Harris, Rowand, Graffy, Daubach and Olivo on the same f***ing day

You are right on the money with that comment. Frank says that a ring is his motivation this year. Ok, if so, it's time for him to suck it up and be THE BIG HURT again.... home or away.
