  1. SOX WIN!!! Always great to beat the losers. I always liked Broussard.
  2. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Mar 5, 2009 -> 12:32 AM) I hated the draft pick when it happened. He and his twin McCullough are perfect examples of low risk, low ceiling talent that we hopefully are going to avoid in the future. We already had this guy in our system before Felix Diaz. Except Felix pitched well at AAA. Were you excited when Poreda was drafted?
  3. When we drafted Broadway I was excited but like so many other prospects he hasn't panned out yet. I wouldn't quite say he's a AAA pitcher yet though. He's still young and could possibly develop.
  4. Given Richard's playoff performance, and his fearlessness, I like him a lot right now. If he can just keep the ball on the ground, I see him as taking the role of a Buehrle. Broadway looks like he still has a little bit to go.
  5. If we're the home team why don't we get to hear Hawk and Stoney?
  6. It's about time! Now I won't have to concentrate on trying to track scores and focus on the game, also possibly good for fantasy. Does anyone have a picture?
  7. id rather see another starting pitcher. the rotation of buehrle, vazquez, contreras, danks, and either floyd, gonzalez, haiger, broadway etc.. scares me. sign a-row, get a pitcher.
  8. I feel that Bmac was great until tghis whole long reliever thing happened. He should've started in the rotation this year. Now mentally he's extremely screwed up. We ruined a tremendously talented pitcher by sticking him in the bullpen to mop up.
  9. i bet garland will bounce back. he pitched too well last year and this year in spring training to revert back to his old form. i think the stuff with politte is location. even with all of the things going wrong with pods, brian anderson garland and politte we're still 6-5.
  10. For some reason on my computer at home I can't get on ST. On this computer that's not at home I can get on. At home my computer says error you are not permitted to use this board... Why is this happening? It started last week.
  11. The time he was referring to was pre-world champions. We'll see how much he misses the south side after we rock him for 4 runs in the bottom of the eighth. (Thome slam)
  12. I'm very happy about passing 2 mil alreaduy. I always was envious of watching other parks filled up and the cell only had 20,000. To me its fun to go to a game where most of the park is filled. It's depressing when only 15k show up. GO SOX!
  13. One of the only lhp relievers i could find is Buddy Groom. Are there any more? Groom could be a good veteran to come out of the bullpen.
  14. i think.
